Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Liberty Harbor Team is an alternatives boutique within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The Team manages approximately $5bn across a variety of hedge funds, long-only strategies and a business development company. The Investor Relations/Product Specialist Analyst/Associate will be integrated within the portfolio management team and is focused on enabling distribution channels to win and retain clients.Principal Responsibilities:
Client Service
• Take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of investor reports that detail portfolio positioning on a regular basis to internal and external clients
• Respond to queries on performance, portfolio positioning and outlook
• Update investor contact database
Marketing
• Update existing marketing presentations and other sales collateral for LH Platform Funds, in addition to board reporting presentations
• Assist in the development of new marketing collateral
• Liaise with global distribution teams in positioning products
• Management of investor breakdown and flows
Project Management
• Work on various strategic projects (e.g., product development, campaign initiatives, IT systems)
Basic Qualifications
Experience/Skills:• 0-2 years of related experience (asset management, sales/marketing, investor relations, performance analysis)
• Undergraduate degree
• Enthusiasm for and a basic understanding of hedge funds
• Resourceful with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
• Team player
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
