Job Description
Our customers sent 3.2 billion emails in 2012. That's a lot
of email! Infusionsoft is looking to add an Email Analyst to our
Systems team, to help our customers be successful with their email
marketing efforts. This is done by ensuring Infusionsoft is able to
provide reliable email deliverability for our customers. You will help
us do this by monitoring customer email activity and results to ensure
all customers are in compliance with Infusionsoft's Email Policies, as
well as general email best-practice compliance within the email
community and industry. This is done through reporting tools,
investigation, objective analysis and articulating the findings to the
other members of the Email Operations team through service tickets. Your
"Big 3" responsibilities will be 1) Ongoing Compliance & Process
Improvement, 2) Provide a Delightfully Thorough Compliance Analysis for
the Customer, and 3) Become an Expert Email Compliance Analyst.
Responsibilities Include:
- Continuously monitor e-mail spam complaint rates and other incidences of email abuse
- Use various technologies, including database reporting and ISP feedback, to identify e-mail abuse
- Review specific abuse cases and make decisions on probation or termination of accounts
- Provide customer-facing departments with training on e-mail best practices
- Communicate our policies directly with customers in some cases as the need arises
- Constantly review processes and make recommendations for improving efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS diploma and 2 years of experience working in a technical support environment
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Good multi-tasking skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent documentations skills
- Passion for email deliverability
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience working with reporting frameworks and interpreting data (i.e Splunk)
- Experience at an e-mail abuse desk
- Familiarity and understanding of e-mail deliverability
- Excellent understanding of permission-based e-mail marketing and e-mail best practices
- Understanding of e-mail related laws and regulations
- College degree or courses related to technology or computer systems
