Job Description

Infusionsoft is seeking an awesome, full-time Email Systems Administrator to join our team. The primary function of this position is to manage and improve the systems that host the web-based Infusionsoft applications.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work with existing tools to analyze email flow. Build new tools to assist in email server administration
• Work toward 100% uptime within the email server environment
• Monitor email server utilization, and assist in growth analysis and capacity planning
• Troubleshoot email servers to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems
• Review current systems and make technical/process recommendations for improving efficiency
• Incorporate Best Practices in operational procedures and documentation
• Assist in the evaluation of new hardware and software technologies as it pertains to email delivery and spam mitigation. Install and debug new and/or upgraded software on email server platforms
• Stay up to date with relevant state-of-the-art technology, devices and technologies in email delivery

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in CS, CSE or in a related field and 3-5 years of related professional experience OR equivalent experience
• Linux system management (CentOS, Redhat)
• Message systems Momentum MTA configuration, administration, deployments
• Large scale, enterprise email MTA system software configuration, administration, deployments
• Working knowledge of SPF, DKIM, Sender ID
• Working knowledge of DNS, firewall rule sets, DNSBL
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, white-listing, bounce rates, spam/UCE regulatory compliance
• Apache, Tomcat, Postfix, qmail, Splunk server and centralized logging technologies
• Networking protocols, including SMTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, IP addressing, UDP, SSL, SSH
• Scripting languages -- Bash, Perl, Python. Programming experience a plus

Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience with interacting with Developers and Software Engineers to enhance email deliverability from within the email server environment.
• Knowledge of automation tools, Puppet, Kickstart, Spacewalk.
