Objectives and Scope of Position:

·         Responsible in conjunction with the iPODD US Partner for regional (US) cross-portfolio, regulatory strategic and operational management of Pediatric Study Plans (PSP) for Oncology

·         Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·         Supports US Partner in his/her responsibilities of managing Paediatric Study Plans (PSP) for oncology

·         Represents the regional function (US) on the iPODD (innovative Paediatric Oncology Drug Development) Team.

·         Works in close collaboration with the US Pediatric Partner, the molecule-specific US partners, and GRLs for the development and implementation of a US regulatory portfolio strategy for paediatric oncology projects.

·         Takes lead and coordinates PSP preparation and submission and manages the procedures on behalf of iPODD Team, with input from the Project or Life Cycle Team who is accountable for the development strategy

·         Prepares integrated plans relating to regional PSP submissions and leads the preparation in response to questions from US regulatory agency related to PSPs

·         Analyses regulatory environment regularly and proactively updates the iPODD Team, molecule-specific RAFT, Project or Life Cycle Teams and PDR management for any potential impact on pediatric project/plans, as appropriate.

·         Gives specific guidance on pediatric regulatory issues such as legislation, guidelines, and procedures to the iPODD Team, the molecule-specific RAFT and Project or Life Cycle teams.

·         Participates in and/or otherwise leads other special projects and initiatives, especially related to pediatric oncology.

Job  Requirements:

• General knowledge of regional regulatory processes and experience of successful management of PSP submissions is preferred
• Practical experience of successfully managing Health Authority interactions, especially related to pediatrics issues is preferred (e.g. FDA, PeRC)
• Takes lead in operational excellence to effectively manage PSP preparation, submissions and procedures
• Takes responsibility to analyse issues especially pediatric related matters thoroughly and proposes solutions with solid rationale
• Analyses and understands the competitive landscape especially current and historical pediatric regulatory environment and its impact on assigned products

The Position

Position Overview
Quality product leaders (QPL) are responsible for the product quality lifecycle management and quality related global activities for the commercial product.  The QPL is a member of the TPT, which is accountable for the launch and lifecycle management of the product working as a matrix team across the PT organization. QPL works cross-functionally in a matrix setting with a xxx for PT for the assigned molecule/product, providing leadership for all quality activities. Partner and influence with TPT, PRC and Q LT to develop and implement a product lifecycle vision strategy and plan.
Responsibilities
•          Manage overall commercial product quality lifecycle
•          Serve as SPOC for product quality within PT
•          Represent Quality on Technical Product Teams (TPT)
•          Lead, manage product quality sub team (PQST)
•          Provide quality  perspective and expertise to TPTs and PT organization
•          Develop Product Quality Plan (PQP)
•          Develop quality product strategy in alignment with overall PSP (product strategic plan)
•          Accountable for product quality sub team decisions
•          Drive global quality activities to ensure continuous supply to patients
•          Drive the completion of quality deliverables through the leadership of the PQST
2. Manage Commercial Product Quality Lifecycle
•          Provide direction and influence product quality decisions
•          Provide recommendations and influence decisions to ensure quality supply to patients (e.g. GEG, QRB, BQC, SMQC, LSTDC)
•          Ensure alignment of quality related activities to meet product goals and long term plans
•          Proactively communicate significant quality issues and/or risks

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work in a team made up of developers, Quality Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment.

Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. MS is desirable. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming in Java or C/C++. Minimum of 5 years embedded software development experience. Desired Characteristics	Strong knowledge in embedded systems stacks and developing embedded middleware with a preference for real-time experience in a network-connected device setting Knowledge of security/access control, scalability, high availability, concurrency, online diagnoses, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization, production support and other SaaS enterprise software issues. Proficient in applying common design patterns, ability to communicate design ideas effectively using UML. Experience with embedded OS development, kernel and device drivers is an advantage Experience with usage of Network/Packet Processor technologies Strong problem solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with device management and control is required Microcontroller and DSP and FPGA programming experience desired Custom Platform Tool Chain and Build System experience desired. Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS), such as VxWorks, QNX, etc. is a plus Experience in Socket programming.
