Description

As a member of the local sales management team, the Senior Sales Engineer provides representation to prospects and customers for all Sandvine solutions articulating their value proposition, operational benefits and features.
The candidate must possess competitive knowledge in modern IP protocols and network policy management, including solution, technology and product offerings and a deep understanding of the company, its solutions and products strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Responsibilities
  • Primary activities include customer presentations, bids and proposals coordination as well as network design
  • Partner with Account Managers to focus Sandvine sales messages and support the customer in articulating their technical requirements and selection criteria
  • May be called to support Sandvine project implementations, providing installations and service readiness testing when needed
  • Support launch and marketing activities and assist with tradeshows and knowledge transfers
  • The candidate is to act as front line to effectively answer any questions from customers regarding the proposed products, solutions and their application

Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 6+ years related pre-sales, industry and business experience
  • Strong experience installing and configuring IP network equipment in a Service Provider environment (e.g. Cisco or Juniper routers/switches, Unix and/or BSD operating systems, firewall technologies) or relevant experience in key competitor offerings
  • Strong knowledge of the Internet and TCP/IP protocols, sub-netting, routing, traffic flow, P2P and other related protocols such as RADIUS, AAA, DHCP, LDAP, SNMP, Ethernet, Billing
  • Proven working knowledge of software programing and scripting
Assets
  • Experience in wireless data technologies (CDMA, GPRS or LTE) and architecture/standards (3GPP, 3GPP2)
  • Experience in wireline access technologies (xDSL, FTTH or HFC/Cable)
  • Industry certifications such as Juniper JNCIA/JNCP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent

Role Description:
The role of Service Desk Specialist is part of the CIS Service Desk team, which is the public face of IT Services for all CIS offices, by which the quality of the whole service is judged.  It is vital that all requests for Service Support are logged, monitored, acted upon and resolved in an efficient and effective manner. The role holder will be supervised by a Senior Service Desk Analyst located in Moscow or Almaty.

Their primary duties will include:
·         Provide first level technical support for all Computing and Telephony services for all EY Staff based in CIS.
·         Under minimal supervision, respond to end user’s inquiries concerning support requests, systems status, and network connectivity, aiming to resolve the issue at first contact.
·         Active management of the existing support calls in the call logging system in order to provide a first class support service to the user-base.
·         Maintain up to date knowledge of IT Services policies and procedures.
·         Undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of client problems via phone, chat and e-mail contact.
·         Log, troubleshoot, and track problems to a successful conclusion.
·         Escalate unresolved problems to other support groups to expedite resolution.
·         Be available to perform after hours work.
·         Perform special assignments as required.
·         Perform daily / weekly administrative tasks as required.
·         Identify sources and trends of technical problems to prevent future occurrences.

    • Accomplishments that reflect boundary-less behavior, teamwork, integrity, accountability and speed.
    • Ability to travel regularly and stay overnight or for an agreed extended period when required.
    • Previous experience with chemical/water processes, large engineering projects and EPC contractors would be desirable.
    • Six-Sigma Green Belt certification would desirable.
