As
part of the GE Transportation’s Global Commercial Operations team,
Proposals Specialist will lead fast-paced, cross functional teams in the
development and execution of winning deal strategies - evaluating
competitive environment, getting price for value delivered, assuring
accurate cost information and meeting legal requirements and financial
targets-aimed at driving profitability and winning share by balancing
customer and market requirements with engineering and supply chain
resources.
Provide single point leadership for proposal development throughout the Inquiry To Order (ITO) process.
Work with Product Management and Sales teams to develop customer-specific value sell stories.
Provide
support in the development and negotiation of contracts, work with key
customer contacts to develop specific product specifications and assure
closure on all contract deliverables.
Support GE initiatives and be an active participant in deal, negotiation and contract process.
This is a temporary contract to backfill employee on a maternity leave.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Finance/Economics from an accredited university or college.
At least 2 years of commercial experience: contract development, review, negotiation and management.
Minimum 1 year of experience in financial and profitability analysis.
Fluent in both English and Russian languages (written and spoken).
