| As a field service engineer you will support new and existing customers within the marine and offshore
segment. This will include service, upgrading commissioning, troubleshooting, training and supervising on power systems. | |
| · Produce and maintain documentation and drawings to the required standards.
· Installation, upgrades and servicing of switchboards, circuit breakers, contactors, transformers, UPS systems, generators and motors. · Upgrades and full integration of Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR) on power system protection schemes, including digital protection relays. · Upgrades and modifications to PC/PLC-related protection systems and power management systems · Support the execution of initiatives whose aim is to reduce commissioning cycle times & customer complaints. | |
| · Experienced with Protection relays, digital and analogue.
· Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent · Experienced with PC/PLC equipment. · Clean Driving Licence. · Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. · Valid Offshore survival training certificate. · Valid Passport to Safety training certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate. · Recognised Health and Safety training in risk assessment. · Familiarity with IEC and marine classification society rules. · Marine and Offshore experienced. · Good Norwegian and English communication skills, written and verbal. · Willingness to travel in Norway and to overseas destinations on short notice and for short periods. | |
