    EEDP is an intensive program for people who have a passion for technology, a drive for technical excellence, and share in GE's core values. The program is designed to accelerate participants' professional development through intense technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments. Edison graduates have the technical and business foundation to proactively and continually make innovative contributions to GE's future. In Oil & Gas, the EEDP is a 2 year entry level program.

EEDP is a two- to three-year entry-level program consisting of three or more rotational assignments. Rotational assignments are engineering projects driven by real GE business priorities.     The Project Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization and manage complex issues within areas of expertise. The Project Leader will be responsible and accountable for medium sized Subsea delivery projects to Customers world wide. The position will report directly to the Senior Manager - MCS Project Portfolio.

    • Serve as the primary customer contact for the duration of each project. Resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate
    • Manage project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout
    • Lead project team through a regular system of contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor operational performance against the agreed timescales, and instigates corrective action where appropriate
    • Champion of all aspects of HSE, quality & technical delivery
    • Responsible for all financial aspects of project management including the establishment of systems to regularly review costs, invoicing, and cash collection.
    • Ensure compliance with all corporate commercial practices and standards
    • Manage team of 5 - 10 employees
    • Lead the project teams to effectively execute projects through the use of project routines in the areas of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing
    • Coordinate resolution of issues through the use of change management and ensure timely collection of monies
    • Immediately after project completion, facilitate the quantification and documentation of project performance with both the project team and customer



    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of working experience)
    • At least 3 additional years of experience in management type position
    • Relevant experience may compensate for the above
    • Subsea experience an advantage
