Concern Worldwide is an Irish-based non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.
In Ethiopia, Concern Worldwide has been involved in HIV and AIDS programme since 2001. The emphasis of the programme is to reduce risk and vulnerability of staff and programme participants to HIV and AIDS by mainstreaming HIV and AIDS at organizational and programme levels, contribute toward reduction of HIV transmission and impact of HIV and AIDS in Ethiopia through capacity building support for local NGOs.
Therefore, as part of monitoring, Evaluation and documentation of best practices Concern Worldwide would like to hire qualified and experienced consultant to conduct documentation of success stories and best practices based on the programme objectives. Thus, interested applicants with appropriate qualification and experience are invited to collect the Terms of Reference (T0R) from Concern Worldwide’s Office located near Shola Market and submit their technical and financial proposal and CVs of consultants thereafter. Applicants are requested to attach copies of their work certificate and/or reference letters which indicate their experience of similar works.
Requirements
This assignment will be commissioned to qualified consultants who will submit technical and financial proposal guided by the TOR. The team is expected to have the following background/ qualification, skills and experience.
• Public health or health education or curriculum development background/expertise.
• The consultant should have extensive knowledge and practical experience in similar documentation related intervention;
• Experience related to HIV and AIDS education will be a distinct advantage;
• The consultant who is capable of going beyond traditional approaches and who can ensure a participatory approach to the documentation is preferred;
• Fluency in English, excellent communication and writing skills is required.
