Job description:
- Discusses
manpower requirements with line managers; analyze budgetary provisions
and direct recruitment activity for all positions as per the company
guidelines/procedures.
- Assists the HR Manager in the manpower
planning, budgeting and forecasting and contributes to the preparation
of overall HR planning.
- Establishes company specific selection
processes for timely and cost-effective recruitment of right
personnel as per recruitment plan & in accordance to
recruitment & manpower budgets.
- Generates and implements
resourceful means to source candidates directly as far as possible,
thus ensuring better control over costs and quality. Aims towards
minimum lead-time in the process from vacancy identification to actual
recruitment.
- Implements and manages a plan for new employee
induction and orientation at supervisory levels and below, and
subsequent follow-up on progress of new recruits in theirjobsthrough the
induction & probation period.
- Assists in the Facilitation
of performance management process at the line level, drive
appraisal process for its successful conclusion each year, review
& report outcomes for further analysis & decisions in training,
reward & performance management area.
- Handles
staff grievances & disciplinary issues and provide appropriate
guidance to line managers for efficient & satisfactory resolution of
the same in line with HR policies/procedures.
- Liaises closely
with corporate HR – Training and S&D – to review/ resolve unit level
issues & requirements in the respective area. Contributes in
the area of training need analysis, training coordination/ facilitation
and post training support & follow-through.
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline followed by further specialisation in HRM (preferable).
- Good business accumen.
- General planning, organising, prioritising and system implementation skills. Communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5-7 years work experience in the Human Resources field in a senior generalist role with a large company.
- Hands on exposure to Talent Development, Unconventional hiring tools and employee relations are essential.
- Computer proficiency, preferably with some exposure to HR software solutions.
- Experience in the Middle East will be an added advantage.

is a senior HR position directly reporting to the Head of HR. Selected
