Job Description :

We are currently looking for multi-lingual staff to help build up its non-English Fundamental database of both present and historical financial data.

Financial Language Analysts are involved in our document acquisition process where they will research and obtain financial information, and in our fundamentals translation department where they will be translating and editing relevant financial information.

They are responsible for creating and maintaining accurate financial glossaries that will be used with our various translation tools.

New employees receive a 2-week training on the contents and structure of annual and interim reports and will gain familiarity with financial concepts and terminology. They will learn to navigate and work with in-house translation tools.

Job responsibilities:

Document Acquisition:

• Obtaining financial information via web research and direct company contact;
• Assisting in converting this information into formats usable for FactSet’s in house applications.

Fundamentals Translation:

• Identifying and translating relevant financial information;
• Creating and maintaining financial dictionaries;
• Correcting translations and continuously improving dictionaries based feedback of analysts;
• Researching and translating textual information used for business profiling.

Job Requirements :

• Fluency in English and Bulgarian
• Good communications skills written & oral
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages;
• Ambitious and enthusiastic;
• Commitment to detail.

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of financial statements and financial terminology;
• Knowledge of Machine Translation (MT) and/or Computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, such as Systran, Google or SDL Trados.
