- working with the Sales and Presales during the evaluation and sales cycle
- designing and developing solutions with the client and solution develop team
- leading implementation teams to deliver the latest SAP Retail and Trading software
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Act as a trusted advisor for strategic customers
- Collaborate with the SAP Account Team to identify and deliver strategic services
- Support business development activities
- Design & develop roadmaps/architecture and translate business requirements to the optimal utilization of SAP Solutions
- Analyze and define requirements for customer-specific development needs or integration requirements
- Review of business processes and corresponding mapping into IT architecture
- Mastering Advanced Delivery Management with Engineered Services and RDS
- Promotion of the SAP brand, SAP products and SAP best practice approaches
- Provide leadership of a team of analysts and functional consultants, undertaking team planning and performance monitoring tasks when required Other Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate levels of involvement in customer issues requiring resolution, including invoices for license fees, maintenance, consulting services and training.
- Contribute as an expert by authoring whitepapers, contributing to blogs, or speaking at events
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Extensive SAP Retail implementation experience (10+ years)
- Extensive retail business processes and systems experience, either as an end user or as a consultant
- Experience of SAP Retail components
- Familiarity with ASAP & Agile methodology, and with SAP implementation tools
- Experienced in Business Transformation and Change Management
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Positions from leading Consultancies, System Integrator or out of the Retail Industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, written) on all Customer levels
- Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focused, self-starter
- Strong intercultural skills
- Fluent English
- Ability and willingness to undertake international travel and assignments
