around the globe. As a Client Technical Solution Professional, you
are IBM's technical consultant to our clients, IBM sales teams and/or
IBM Business Partners. You will learn the client's business
requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape and
apply industry-specific knowledge and experience to bring new business
and technology insights to the client. You will be responsible for
providing technical sales support, which may include: collaborating with
IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and
feasibility of proposed solutions; delivering Proof of Concept;
supporting critical situations; designing solutions; and answering
technical questions. When engaged for a specific opportunity or project,
you will also be responsible for the technical accuracy of your
proposed solution. The Client Solution Professional works as a member
of an integrated sales team in the requirements identification and
definition of Customer Experience Management solutions with a specific
focus on the successful selling of Curam software solutions. Responsibilities
Active engagement with clients and prospects — mapping business and
technical solutions across IBM/Curam capabilities and the client
environment/business objectives.
Understand how a full
range of Curam technology can be integrated to address customer needs.
Though hands-on expertise with every technology is not expected, a
business-level understanding and strategic perspective of the impact of
predictive analytics in a public sector customer environment is
imperative.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions,
create Business Requirements Documents,and prepare analysis
documentation such as use cases.
Establish strong working relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor;
Work closely with brand sellers and the client relationship teams to align analytic strategy for clients.
Required
Start up experience and successfully managing an early stage geographic region or territory.
5 years experience in a Consultant role working for a large IT
consulting firm or a minimum of 7 years experience working at a senior
management level for a public sector agency in the delivery of IT
related projects for the Social Security and/or Human Services
marketplace
Knowledge of human services / social
security in the relevant market and experience of custom application
design, development, and implementation.
Either a technical background or career working with Health and Human Services organizations.
Applicants with a technical orientation should possess strong working knowledge of Java/J2EE and enterprise software systems.
Experience with process modelling and data modelling.
Health and Human Services applicants must have experience working with enterprise systems in the public sector space.
Ability to work with a prospective customer's IT dept

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years experience in Enterprise software pre-sales
- At least 5 years experience in Proven and consistent successful track record with annual quota attainment in the $3M+ range
- At least 4 years experience in Public sector / social services
sector expertise, encompasssing and integrating human services, labour,
health, social security, and military and veteran agencies
- English: Fluent
