Role Summary/Purpose	Grow your Career with GE Global Growth & Operations, IT division in MENAT. We may not have a specific job for you today, but are interested in your expertise for tomorrow. GE will have a number of opportunities within IT throughout the year and we are looking for both fresh graduates and students to join our development orientated programs.
Essential Responsibilities	These positions will be based in MENAT: We are looking to hire a number of people for various positions within our IT function. We have opportunities for both fresh graduates into our IT leadership program and students who are currently studying to join our GE summer internship program. • IT Leadership Program (Fresh graduates) • IT Internship (for Students currently studying Only) ITLP This Leadership Program is the entry point to career at GE for CS/MIS major students. This program aims to develop and nurture future GE IT leaders. In fact, many CIOs came from ITLP program. In the 2 year program, ITLP members are expected to complete 4 missions as a real business’s project owner in 6 months each. Meanwhile members are supposed to complete training courses, which consists of not only technical but also business leadership. A two year program consisting of four six-month assignments. Hired into one GE Business – Students declare business preferences during recruiting process. Twelve weeks of training on topics including: Wide range of technology disciplines, Finance / Accounting Leadership, Business, Project Management, Exposure to senior level IT and business leaders & the Opportunity to build a global network of ITLPs across all of GE’s businesses - Unauthorized Work permission in the region. - Minimum overall 3.0 GPA - Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business (with IT-related minor or concentration) - Passion for IT - Internship or other relevant work experience in IT - Strong analytical and technical skills - Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom - Relevant coursework in IT-related disciplines - Geographic mobility - Fluent (Business level) English & Arabic ability in both speech and writing IT Internship The information technology summer intern will support business intelligence, digitization & simplification efforts working with Finance, HR teams closely. The intern will also have project(s) assigned to be completed within the given time frame and content. - Support business intelligence & solutions web application development - Ensure data quality & completeness - Work with business solutions leader & Information Technology Leadership Program candidates to design new & develop metrics dashboards - Support the mobility leader in consolidating & analyzing mobile spend - Support roll out of global information technology tools in the region - Track projects and report out to country & region leadership on a regular basis
Qualifications/Requirements	ITLP: - Unauthorized permission to work in the region. - Minimum overall 3.0 GPA - Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business (with IT-related minor or concentration) - Passion for IT - Internship or other relevant work experience in IT - Strong analytical and technical skills - Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom - Relevant coursework in IT-related disciplines - Geographic mobility - Fluent (Business level) English & Arabic ability in both speech and writing IT Internship: - Current student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics - 3rd or 4th year student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. - Fluent Arabic and English required.
