Job Description DemandTec offers breakthrough Consumer Demand Management software products that optimize pricing and promotion decisions for retailers and manufacturers by aligning business strategies with customer demand. The software uses sophisticated analytical techniques to optimize price and promotion as a single system, taking into account the interdependencies between both complementary and substitute items. DemandTec has implemented its solutions with some of the world's leading retailers and has consistently demonstrated the ability to significantly increase sales turnover, unit volume and net profit. Position Description: This Sales Specialty will drive incremental software license sales for DemandTec from prospective work through to final sales. Applicants MUST have a hunter/seeker personality and must be a seasoned team player with experience within Retail and Consumer Products spaces. Responsibilities:  -- Drive complex software sales cycles  -- Build outstanding customer and team relationships  -- Secure new accounts and maintain existing accounts to increase long term revenues Required Skills  -- Entrepreneurial approach towards development of assigned accounts  -- Driven and creative individual with track record of consistently exceeding quota in high growth environment  -- Excellent relationship and communication skills across all levels and types of an organization  -- A “whatever it takes to win” competitive attitude  -- An unwavering commitment to the customer and to your team  -- Ability to work independently and/or possibly from a remote location.  -- Ability to travel as needed  -- Experience in Retail, Consumer Products, and Application Software markets a must  -- B.A. or B.S. degree
