Provide leadership, direction and expertise for the full scope of HR
functions, including performance management, salary planning, succession
planning, and talent management, staffing strategies / recruitment
& selection.
Understand plant strategic direction and plan / deliver appropriate HR support to maximize human resource capital, including workforce planning strategies to deliver on long-term plans. Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate; help drive various plant and business initiatives. Drive Session C process (GE’s key HR and Organization review process), building robust talent development initiatives and driving a proactive succession planning culture. Ensuring a dynamic pipeline of talent through rigorous performance management, e.g., leadership assessments, coaching and development of employees, candid and timely performance feedback. Recruiting, mentoring, coaching & training direct and indirect reports on activities within areas of responsibility. Lead critical HR operating rhythms such as Salary Planning and represents HR in critical business rhythms including SII and Business Strategy reviews. Proactively managing HR systems in order to maintain integrity of employee and organizational data. Prepare annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). Participate and /or lead broader HR projects, including diversity strategies and affinity groups. | |

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources,
Industrial Relations or Organizational Psychology or related discipline
in which business knowledge and an understanding of human resource
practices are gained.
Minimum 7 years of increasing HR generalist responsibility (i.e. handling employee relations, compensation, and recruiting and performance management) and leadership experience with clear career progression. Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment and effectively interface with high level business operations and HR leaders. Knowledgeable of current labor and benefits laws. Outstanding communication, coaching and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills. Integration and change management experience would be considered an asset. Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish | |
| Advanced degree in Business, HR management or Industrial Relations (such as MBA, MHR/IR, etc.)
