Essential Responsibilities	- Provide technical and architectural expertise for Server solutions including hardware/software evaluations and server infrastructure design. - Use Six Sigma quality tools and rigor in developing business compute solutions, proposing alternatives & comparing cost – benefits. - Identify and drive server platform consolidation opportunities and cost savings. - Work with GE businesses to define business solutions and other infrastructure services as it relates to meeting business goals. - Manages relationship with ISS (internal IT service provider) and other 3rd party service providers (e.g. local compute vendor) - Apply technical knowledge and skills in developing regional solutions, or problem solving activities, where complexity, innovation and technical expertise are required. - Display excellent project management skills in completing multiple projects, resource & time allocation and managing risks. - Apply business VOC and work with Infrastructure architects to develop new technologies and standards - Responsible for assisting in systems engineering analysis and design on distributed and data center computing platforms. - Interact with business owners and peers to introduce possible improvements and best-practices to Integration methodology. - Effectively use teamwork skills to interact and collaborate to resolve architecture, enterprise and/or Integration, issues, including comparing alternative approaches..
Qualifications/Requirements	- BS / BM / MCA / MBA with minimum 8+ years of IT experience and leadership or equivalent work experience - Strong project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting - Good Leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results - Commitment for process improvement, customer focused in defining quality and establishing priorities - In-depth knowledge of server technology and architecture - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Prior experience with process quality methodology or infrastructure technologies - Ability to deliver compliance requirements and to excel in a global matrix organization - Demonstrated skills in oral, written and interpersonal communication, influencing skills and promote open communication among teams.
Desired Characteristics	- Over 10 years of total working experience in IT Infrastructure roles. - Comfortable in working with geographically & culturally diverse team. - Six Sigma Certification e.g. Green Belt.
