Description
The
Scoring, Analytics & Modeling Analyst is a position within the
LATAM GCB Risk Management COE team that primary support all LATAM/MX/BR
countries in terms of regulatory analysis, model validation and MIS.
The position works
closely with Regional Risk Products, Portfolio Mgt, Fraud, Collections,
Infrastructure and Country Risk Teams to support/enhance analytical
basis for Model Risk Management used in Portfolio Forecasting, Risk
Segmentation, Collections and Fraud.
Job responsibilities:
-Oversight of the work done by Jr Analysts. Training and setting of goals for the group.
-Assure that the work by the group is completed on time and meets the action plan set and approved by Global Risk
-Handle and oversee multiple projects at the same time related to validation, MIS and documentation of models.
-Drive conclusions from
the analysis been generated by Jr Analyst and make recommendations for
changes in models/strategies as part of the formal documentation (MAPS)
been generated.
- Intense US & local regulatory requirements for Model & Segmentation Management.
-Intense support for CCAR analysis, documentation, MIS and submissions.
-Ad hoc profitability, RAR, RWA analysis to strengthen regional recommendations to markets
-Ad-hoc analysis to
support Global Reporting, GCCFRP compliance (Ch 17-Model Risk
Management), Audit follow ups, in addition to ensuring all regional
deliverables to Global Risk, Country Risk, Finance and Business
segments.
This position is
responsible for identifying and procuring needed data, ensuring data
integrity, compiling data, performing analysis, generating production
and ad hoc reporting, as well as helping to interpret analysis results.
This position interfaces with other Analysts and Risk Managers in all
countries within the COE. Incumbent may also interface with both O&T
and Finance functions to ensure the ability to leverage data.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s Preferred (MBA, Statistics, Econometrics, Ops Research).

English required and Spanish is a plus.

Experience in analytics, statistics, and modeling experience desirable.

Modeling and Segmentation with SAS, Triad, Chaid.

XLS Power user, XLS macro knowledge; SAS experience desirable

Project Management and/or Six Sigma Process certification desirable.

Excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.

Strong technical, analytical and communications skills (written and verbal in English)

Must be a team player, very self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize workload.

Ability to design MIS reports via Cube or SAS platforms.
