Description
This position is responsible for leading the Instituitional vertical (Cards) to support aggressive targeted acquisition of premium prospects .This is one of the lead channels for acquisition of AXP Card Products with focus on generating business from the premium – segment. The position is also responsible for building, coaching and development of the premium sales team, ensuring appropriate sales processes are followed, and the highest levels of controls and compliance are adhered to. - Provide thought leadership in conceptualization and implementation of the retail channel strategy in Mumbai market. - Build a team of sales managers and premium sales force to implement the premium value strategy and increase market share in the relevant segment.. - The person in-charge will need to work at identifying opportunities, creating viable business models and implementing the same with a view on creating a robust cards acquisition engine to acquire premium cards from the defined segment / market. - Key Responsibilities include mapping out the premium-super premium residences in each city of operation. Identify, gather, collection and building of relevant prospect databases for maximizing the channel productivity. - Generating innovative ideas on process and product variants with view to maximizing productivity of the channel. - Speed will be of essence in creating and implementing innovative ideas for selling in the targeted segment. The channel head will have to:
- Deliver on key metrics – NAA and Billings goal for the city
- Build a strong premium sales team, which is focussed on acquisition of premium prospects through consultative selling approach instead of push sales culture. Focus on strong relationship oriented approach.
- Build a strong sales culture that reflects and strengthens the Amex Brand – customer experience at every touch point
- Develop proactive promotional plans / contests for prospects and employees with a view to keeping the interest alive in the product.
- Build relationships with residence welfare associations and builders of premium and super premium areas to collect ,gather and build prospect databases and promote premium products in the defined segment
- Ensure sharing of best practices across all the country with a view on maximizing productivity.
- Manage CPC, early activation, and FYF attrition while delivering on agreed Product Mix.
- Work closely with sales effectiveness team to create a training calendar and ensure a flawless execution of the same.
- Analyze PSF applications/NCA on an ongoing basis to ensure that metrics on approval rates, cancellation rates, declines and spend behavior etc are met.
- Analyze PSF performance on a monthly basis as per the guidelines and develop strategies to retain high performers and replace poor performers
- Develop strong interfaces with Operations to understand and contribute to Card approval process.
- Deliver through partnership with New Accounts a high-end customer experience for HICM prospects.
- Provide leadership, manage and motivate the team of PSF Sales Managers and Business Development Officers to ensure employee satisfaction.
- Ensure that Goals, PMP discussions, Development Plan discussions are done on time.
- Manage A& P budgets to ensure maximum mileage for the channel while ensuring expenses are met within the budgeted allocation.
- Building a compliance culture with strong controls for timely identification & correction of issue’s ; Zero tolerance and complete integration into Blue Box culture
