About the Role and Responsibilities
Overview of the Team
McAfee, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), is the world's largest dedicated security technology company. The Nacka Strand, Stockholm team is primary focusing on developing products and technology for the identity and authentication management market. The team is part of McAfee’s Network Security business, which includes Network IPS & NAC, Enterprise Firewall, Web Protection, Email, DLP and Identity Management, and Services Gateway products.
If you join the team, you will be taking leading part in the design and the development of our testing tools for the innovative McAfee Authentication Service and also get internal opportunities to collaborate with engineers based in Stockholm and around the world (e.g. Germany, US, India, Finland)

Specific Responsibilities/Functions
- You will drive continuous integration, recommending approach and technology
- You will be serving engineering, implement components, infrastructure and tools
- You will identify risks, opportunities and work items for process and test automation
- You will be responsible for the development of source code and execution of automated test cases and QA processes that ensure quality throughout our release schedule
- You will take part in mentoring other SQA analysts to spread adoption of automation strategy and best practices throughout the team. You will also interface with development team to ensure sufficient test coverage upstream in JUnit and other unit test tools in support of TDD best practices
- You will work and investigate new testing technologies to expand and improve authentication product test coverage
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in OO design patterns and coding best practices – mainly in Java development (certificate / job etc.); JavaSE (Software environments are Windows, Linux and MAC). Solid experience of software development lifecycle
- Quality evangelist for Engineering process, infrastructure, tools.
- Experience in testing at the API level; Experience of white box testing.
- Design, develop and maintain automated test suites through a variety of tools, including Selenium, Jenkins and JUnit. Engineering best practices in Unit, functional and non-functional testing
- Experience in providing and maintaining complex, automated post-build regression tests. Exposure to Build-Test infrastructure e.g. Jenkins/Team City
Desirable
- Webapps, REST, MVC, Tomcat
- Java (J2EE – servlets, web services). Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Maven, Ant
- VMWare/vSphere administration
- Proven expertise of networking concepts/protocols –TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP
- Familiarity with MAC and/or UNIX testing – an advantage
