Description
This position on the Consumer Services Finance team is responsible for supporting the Investments Process for the US Consumer Card business. The team is responsible for investment optimization across the Consumer business organization, including planning, communication, execution, and analysis of the ~$1.5B investment lines.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the position is management of the investment funding and optimization process for the Consumer card organization. This position will work closely with cross-functional partners from Marketing, Finance, and Technologies to refine and execute on the investment management process for Consumer.
Key responsibilities include:
* Aligning on the optimal investment allocation across the business, with a primary focus on Advertisting and Promotion (A&P) investment pool ($1.1B)
* Managing unfunded investment list and developing investment recommendations for leadership
* Communicating funding decisions to all levels of the business
* Preparing funding forecasts, ensuring accuracy and transparency of forecast submissions
* Tracking risks and opportunities vs forecast
* Conduct analyses to assess investment ROIs, enabling better tradeoffs/decision-making
* Preparing materials for senior leader presentations in order to drive optimized decision making
Qualifications
* Excellent strategic thought leadership skills
* Strong financial/analytical abilities and attention to detail
* Strong relationship development and communication skills
* Ability to manipulate/synthesize data and structure analyses for new and existing investment alternatives
* Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to create insightful and simple views in order to communicate complex issues to the business and senior leaders Strong Excel and PPT skills
* 2-4 years of experience
